Temperature Test The measured temperature rise on Model AD-015 was 45 ～C and Model AD-017 was 41 ～C . The result exceeded the maximum allowable limit of 30～C. This is not in compliance with par. 31 of UL 498A.
Grounding Contact Test Each samples of Model AD-012 was positioned with the outlet facing down in a horizontal position. The 2 oz (57 g) ground pin shown in Fig. 36.3 of UL 498A was inserted into each tested opening and maintained for one minute with the force of the weight tending to withdraw the pin. The 2 oz ground pin was not retained for the required one minute. This is not in compliance with par. 36 of UL 498A.
