请教一个Fire Enclosure的问题!!
我的产品在申请UL60065时,Rating为120V,30W.塑料外壳的材料需要V-1以上吗?标准在哪里有说到?请大家帮忙,谢谢!!

依 UL 60065 :
20.2 FIRE ENCLOSURE
20.2.1 DU Each of the following shall be contained in a FIRE ENCLOSURE:
(1) circuits and their associated components where the AVAILABLE POWER exceeds 15 W,
(2) inductors and windings CONDUCTIVELY CONNECTED TO THE MAINS, and
(3) apparatus with open circuit voltages exceeding 4 kV (peak) a.c. or d.c., under normal operating conditions.
The
FIRE ENCLOSURE shall comply with the flammability category in table 22 according to UL 94 or UL 746C as specified.
Polymeric:
a) apparatus using high voltage components a
MAJOR ENCLOSURE PART V-0
Parts other than MAJOR ENCLOSURE PARTS V-1 or V-0
b) commercial audio STATIONARY APPARATUS and PERMANENTLY CONNECTED APPARATUS 5VA
c) other than apparatus itemized in a) and b) above a V-2, V-1 or V-0

UL 60065 在 Fire Enclosure 要求較 IEC 60065 有所不同.
其中 :
(1) 使用功率大於 30 W 以上....
你的 電源 30 W 已高於 UL 60065 要求, 故需有 Fire Enclosure. 至於該 Fire Enclosure 的材質要求, 正如 Barry 所解說 (A)~(C) 在不同應用下防火材質等級要求.

请教一下mikesu兄,这个30W的限制在哪可以看到.我的这本UL6500-1999有很多删节号,看得不舒服.
据我所知,UL的标准里,关于enclosure的要求,都统一跟从UL746C(可能一些与IEC合并的标准例外). 根据UL746C,凡>42.4V peak voltage (30 V RMS)的电压都视为可能导致着火或触电.
3.34 RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK – A risk of electric shock is considered to exist at any part if,
a) The potential between the part and earth ground or any other accessible part is more than
42.4 V peak, and
b) The continuous current flow through a 1500 ohm resistor connected across the potential
exceeds 0.5 mA.
3.35 RISK OF FIRE – A risk of fire is considered to exist at any two points in a circuit where;
a) The open circuit voltage is more than 42.4 V peak and the energy available to the circuit
under any condition of load including short circuit, results in a current of 8 A or more after 1
minute of operation, or
b) A power of more than 15 watts can be delivered into an external resistor connected between
the two points.

在UL60065-1999中,只说明了防火外壳的分类和厚类要求要遵循UL746C和UL94,并没有说60065防火外壳的适用条件和UL746C相同.

我也是从UL1950开始的,那时的安规环境没现在好,当时拿到UL1950时都看不懂,花了一个月的时间来读标准(查词典呵),头都读大了.

下划线的意思是在UL60065里面有这样的要求,但是在IEC60065没有这样的要求,在UL标准里面有下划线和删除线,下划线就是我上面说的意思,删除线的意思是在IEC里面有这样的要求,但是UL没有.
